Full Name: Wanita Denise Woodgette Date Of Birth: July 7, 1983 Age: 24 Origin: Atlanta, Georgia, U.S Woods was born in in Springfield, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She coined the name "D. Woods", her middle initial and shortened surname, because she felt it was easier to pronounce and more memorable than her birth name. Woods was discovered on the third season of ABC/MTV reality television program Making the Band, founded by Diddy. Danity Kane's album debuted August 22, 2006 at #1; the album has been successful since. Danity Kane, along with the Pussycat Dolls, are now touring as the opening act for Christina Aguilera. She was the lead girl in Lloyd's video "You" and before joining Danity Kane she appeared in the video "Change Clothes" by Jay-Z, where she was one of the models. She also made an appearance in Gorilla Zoe's album, Welcome to the Zoo on the track, "You Don't Know Me".
